This past week we've been working on our mice-en-scene project, the goal was to create a visual tactile , and audio representation of a random character, our character was a retired fireman who volunteers at animal shelters. We created a backstory that he was forced to medically retire after the 9/11 attacks, where he lost his legs and was traumatized. He later found himself volunteering and learning he loves the love of pets in particular dogs.

To illustrate him we used an outfit builder where we printed out a template of a man and some clothes and people could build an outfit for him based on his detailed descriprition. We also brought dog treats and toys to represent his love for them as well as photo of an animal shelter. Lastly we made a sound project of him volunteering and playing with the dogs he loves most.

Overall I think our groups was one of the best presentations in our class, and we had a very enticing project however we could've used more things tied to his background on the fire department, and how he overcame his traumatic experience in losing his leg and finding a new path towards a happier life.
