This past week we've been learning about sound and how it can be used to further develop a story, because of this we did two projects about sound.
Project one was a no image just sound project where we has to lay sound together to develop a 1 to 2 minute sound, me and my partner decided to use a lunch period for a high schooler, we had to do foley which is basically homemade sounds. We got the layout together and began our editing/ selection process for these sounds. I think we did well on the project but our topic was kind of bland and the 7 words only restriction limited the story developing further.
The second project was adding sound to the One Word Film we did recently, for that me and my partner got together and made an outline for the project, and what we thought made sense for the development of our story. However I did something very different to what we had planned as when I began editing I had different ideas to what I thought would look better and sound better. For improvements I think my editing could use some work as I had some difficulties beginning the sound at the perfect time.
